In 2018, International Media Investments acquired ownership of Al Roeya, an Arabic language publication based out of Dubai, UAE. Within less than a year, following an extensive restructuring of the publication, Al Roeya relaunched in 2019 as the first youth-oriented, pan Arab, digital and multimedia news platform in Arabic.
Al Roeya's identity is designed to reflect chats, dialogues and conversations. A symbol based on the Arabic letter 'و', is constructed using the concept of a speech bubble within the wordmark. The 'و' speech bubble becomes an icon that represents engagement with Al Roeya's audiences.
